What is the main concept of Surrealism?

Surrealism often incorporates playful and whimsical elements, and this can be reflected in interior design through unexpected accents such as a wall covered in quirky wallpaper, a light fixture shaped like a giant flower, or a statement piece of furniture with an unusual shape or texture.

Surrealism aims to revolutionise human experience. It balances a rational vision of life with one that asserts the power of the unconscious and dreams. The movement's artists find magic and strange beauty in the unexpected and the uncanny, the disregarded and the unconventional.

Surrealist home decor is bold, creative, gutsy and grandiose. It goes beyond the sketched horizon. It spills, it stretches and exaggerates. Loud and trippy, the design accents speak an unreal reality.

The characteristics of surrealism include strange images or bizarre juxtapositions, unconsciousness as a valid reality, dream-like artwork or symbolic images, automatism techniques to create random effects, distorted figures or biomorphic shapes, depiction of perverse sexuality, and chance or spontaneity.

I like this style, in some different limits from person to person, from home to home.
