Here I am back again. I was in a trip to find out more. More about life, love, opportunities. So I have more to give to you, in a better package.

Let’s see if you can remark the changes that happened in my heart and brain that will reflect in the decoration of this beautiful kitchen situation outside of Oslo.

Little bit of presentation of this kind of young room but not very good taking care of: is a ca ten years old house on the side of Oslo.

Two floors and a lot of rooms. Ca four bedrooms, two living rooms and two bedrooms.

I will work on this project until is finished, meaning this year.

The owners is a family with one kid and a big family that is coming to visit on holidays.

So we have started with the kitchen, the heart of the house thinking to first share the joy of a new house with all the loved ones.

In order to that, after a nice dialogue with the owners, I picked up they’re wishes for the ideal image of they’re furnishing, color palette and style.

It’s was kind of difficult because they are a very lovely couple with two styles that is actually the opposite of each other. Very masculine and very feminine ( I understand also their visible strong connection. They are really magnets for each other ). He is dark-industrial, strong character and black-simple tones. She is light-extravagant-eclectic and a bit joyful style.

We hade some discussions and meetings where I could found out the inner way to be, so I could reflect it forward between the walls that will continue to be the perfect extension of both of them.

I love to do that 🥰🤩🥳

And I love to see them after some years when they are same comfortable with what is between the walls exactly as they are comfortable with their selves.

So, here is the short-long story of this beautiful proses of the styling, furnishing, designing and decorating their home.

First I choose the colors. White & black was the start. As they are. Because they are kipping they’re style no matter what. So I kept the clean lines as they style values.

And natural-soft surfaces. Because they are really natural and sweet with this amazing match of the opposite style. 🥰 🥰

Forward was very easy. They wanted both a kitchen island with breakfast bar on the side.

And a generous private dinner table for the guests, hidden by the opening of the windows and doors. Intimacy and comfort was the priority there. My discovering of the real side of they're table under the lack surfaces hade really made a change. The veins of the trunk of the tree in light beige and dark brown was absolutely fantastic. Now they only have nourished and closed pores with specific oil that is delightful to touch 😌

Because this table will be the jewelry of the kitchen, i hade muted abut the contrast of the white-black to a more tasty cream-brown contrast. Is also more tasty with a warm palette of color in the kitchen, to create better appetite 👨‍🍳

Exactly as they hade compromised with each other in they're shared private life, friends and family together. I

have already seen around in the house things from both that sit comfortably near each other.

A flower bouquet 💐 on the industrial cabinet 🗄️ in the hallway. The pink fur near black plain flipflops. A white elegant lady hat 👒near some sport caps 🧢 Was not so bad 😉

The most common style I found at this sweet couple was also the appreciation to classical family kitchen fronts ( mostly her ) and the opening to the most modern appliances ( mostly him ).

So we hade a very good deal.

And the investment was fair for both. 😊

The floor surface and color was a bit of a problem since he wanna have it dark and smooth, while she wanted it light and natural.

Here was the theory in the interior design that took the priority with the theory of having the color palette from all the room in a base that sustains the first idea when we hade started. A contrast between white and black, where we know that black can't be too much because for the haevyness of the black. And the use of natural surfaces in stead of artificial/fake.

Here we found also compensation by let him choose the lighting that can freely be industrial and dark.

We finished this design with a bottle of wine the owners recommendation 😋 and a cherry pie 🥧. Everything was . Very delicious. The food. Very kind people. And very nice project 🤩
