LIGHTS AND COLOURS

Did you know that there are people who are paid to always find new colors?
Or that there are special devices that measure color?
By shade, tone, gloss?
 
I studied interior design in Oslo, Norway, for three years. One of the subjects I had was even knowing colors. The color, the light reflection...
Depending on: orientation, space, time, distance, it changes completely.
This first principle is imposed in the decoration of a room.
 
The first thing to notice in terms of arrangement is the light. Depending on it, the building, the windows, the doors, then the dining area, the bed, the TV, the sink, the desk are placed.

Notice in the image the effect of the lights behind the hand. The same thing happened with the light entering our homes 🙂
 
That is why a good design cannot be done well from scratch. It is necessary to observe the evolution of the light in the room, in the morning, at noon, in the evening.
The technique has evolved, for those who have possibilities, there are #special settings in the architecture program (I use ArchiCad18), which offer the possibility to position the sun exactly at the graduation, using google map.
Then shadows matter. Shadows give the room a touch of mystery. We usually use them in rooms without routine daily activities.
 
In the case of homes with several rooms, it is an advantage to use differently lit areas for different activities.
 
Thus we will have the kitchen and the living room with the windows to the South or West, the place where the sun is from noon until evening.
The ideal bedroom is located with the window to the east, i.e. to the East.
